Notes from a Child

I got this from Daphne Osena-Paez’s blog and I’d like to share them with you too.
I miss my parents, and this post makes me think what I should do as I am a parent too.
1. Don’t spoil me. I know quite well that I ought not to have all I ask for. I’m only testing [...]

Mommy and Child at ISYC

Last Saturday was a wonderful day for me.  ISYC had a mother and child activity at the school and I was really excited to bond with Lance.  Paul drove us to the school and when we got to Lance’s classroom, some of his classmates are there already and so he played with them first.

The activity [...]

Happy Mother’s Day!

To all the mommies out there especially to my mom, happy mother’s day! We rock!!!
Here’s a nice poem I saw in Facebook and I’d like to share them with you.
“M” is for the million things she gave me,
“O” means only that she’s growing old,
“T” is for the tears she shed to save me,
“H” is for [...]

Enrolled

I’m talking about Lance.  I was on half day leave yesterday for his assessment and enrollment.  Left the office by lunch time and picked up Lance at home.  He is really excited and keeps on telling me that he will go to school.  As soon as I parked the car, I can see him smiling [...]

Mommy’s Booboo

Resulted into this:

We went out for a walk in the neighborhood yesterday afternoon.  It was so hot inside the house so we decided to go out to get some air.  We went to a nearby bakery to buy bread then went home.  Paul was holding Lance’s hand while I’m in-charge of Hannah.  While walking, Hannah [...]

We Have A School!

Last December, we started school hunting for Lance already.  We visited ISYC and Kids on Focus.  Then last January, we visited Morning Dew Montessori and My Kids Laboratory.
Our considerations were the location, the method of teaching, the student-teacher ratio and the feedbacks from fellow parents.  Even before we started school hunting, I really would like [...]

Mommy Moments: Songs from a Mom’s Heart

I used to sing songs from these two albums when my kids were newborns.  I love the message of each song in the albums since it talks about a parent’s love for her child and it also talks about God.  All songs are worth listening.
I also love the song I’d Give My Life For You.  [...]

To Be or Not To Be…

I’m talking about being a SAHM.  If I’m the only to decide, I’d go for being a SAHM.  I know it won’t be easy, and I really have high regard to my friends who were sahm’s and I know it will be a challenge for me especially the cooking part hehe! But I really want [...]

Touched

I was out of town for 3 days for our annual business planning.  We normally conduct this in Astoria but for this year, the company decided to have it out of town.  It was my first time to be away from Hannah for more than 1 day and I know I’ll have separation anxiety.  Hehe!  [...]

The Kids Are Sick

As blogged here, Paul was on leave last Tuesday because Lance has fever.  We’ve been monitoring his temperature and it’s always above the normal temperature.  We just continue giving him medicines and hopefully it will subside.  What’s funny pa nga is that whenever we put the thermometer in his ear and he hears the beep [...]
