On Social Security
Last week, I went out on field to inspect one of the contractors applying for accreditation. I have to meet the owner and at the same time inspect their tools and equipment and their facilities. On our way to the warehouse, we saw a company vehicle moving as fast as it can and we saw that there was an employee with hands wrapped with cloth and covered with blood. We don’t really know what happened but we think that the employee’s hand or fingers were cut. If in case that’s what really happened, I hope he is covered with social security disability benefit. I have an aunt who had the same accident and she was not able to work again, and thanks to social security, she was able to have enough to start a small business.
