SOLV’s 25th Anniversary
Last Saturday, we attended my community’s 25th anniversary. I am so glad to have been part of this community because I came to know God more. This is where I learned how to have a personal relationship with God, how to really pray, and of course I enjoyed the company of the brothers and sisters in SOLV. Sayang lang, I can’t attend to the regular prayer meetings and cell group meetings anymore. I became inactive na after I got married because I live far from Makati where we hold the prayer meetings. But one thing is for sure, I really miss them! And the talk that one of the speakers shared last Saturday is true, he said that SOLV’s growth must not be determined by the numbers of attendees but by how it touched the lives of the people. I can so relate to what he said because Paul and I and also my sister, may not be active committed members anymore but the knowledge about God and the discipline that was instilled in us will forever be in our hearts and minds. I truly am so grateful to be part of SOLV.
To others who are searching for a community and wants to have a personal relationship with God, you may visit SOLV. We are a group of young professionals who wants to know God more and have a personal relationship with Him. Prayer meetings are held every Tuesdays at 7pm at Don Bosco Makati.
