Welcome To The Christian World Hannah!
This is a long overdue post. Was so busy on the latter part of the year that I have no time to update this blog.
Anyhow, Hannah was baptized last Nov. 29 at the Edsa Shrine. I want to have her baptized before I go back to work after my ML and when we checked the schedules at the Shrine, there’s still 1 slot left for Nov 29 sched so we booked right away. I even have to go to Pasig City Hall to get a copy of Hannah’s birth cert since they don’t accept bookings unless there’s a birth cert. We booked Max’s Galleria for reception so that guests won’t have to travel anymore after the baptism plus their package is complete and budget friendly.
Hannah was so behaved during the baptismal rite. She was the only girl and the youngest at that, among the 3 kids being baptized and she’s the only one who did not cry when the priest poured water on their foreheads. She only cried when I put on her baptismal gown probably because she felt hot but once she adjusted with the temp inside the room, she stopped crying. She was also behaved at the reception and was contented staying on her bassinet. Lance on the other hand was busy walking around the mall and playing inside the restaurant.
There were only a few guests who made it to the church since the traffic was heavy during that day. We only invited a few guests and we’re glad that almost all of them were there. Was not able to take a picture that much because we only have limited time and we’re going to Batangas right after the baptism to go the wake of my uncle. Here are a few pics during the baptism (we don’t even have a nice family picture hehe!):
